JOB SUMMARY
The Nursing Supervisor duties include provision of managerial and clinical links
between the nurse manager and department direction in their absence, and the
administrator-on-call. Additionally, this position will include knowledge of Utilization
Review rules and regulations as they assist physicians and staff in assigning admission
status.

Nurse Supervisor Job Description:


The RN Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the clinical support staff. The RN
Supervisor will provide or coordinate the provision of disease-specific educational
support to patients and also assist with in-service training to staff.

the principles of patient and family centered care by establishing effective

 Ensures the delivery of high quality services that complies with patient safety

 Is responsible for the day to day supervision of the nursing and clinical support

 In collaboration with the Quality Management Director participates in the BPH

of patient care including but not limited to: discipline specific chart audits, triage,
and other quality improvement initiatives.
 Ensures compliance with all infection control and environment of care
regulations.
 Participation in trainings and quality improvement activities including the Clinical
Quality Management Committee, and compliance with policies and guidelines
 Knowledge of the Patient-Centered Medical model
 Assist the Clinic Administrator prepare for any internal or external audits by
ensuring compliance with any and all regulations.
 Ensures the daily monitoring of quality controls and medication logs; implements

JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care
by
promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with
physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological

RN is responsible to the Clinical Manager for the assigned Department.

Job Purpose:
