1. The photograph depicts how people have become enslaved to technology like social media and the internet. This is represented by a person with all five senses covered by wires connected to gadgets. We seem to be controlled by social media and only see what is on our feeds. 2. Being addicted to social media and constantly seeking validation through likes and comments can seriously impact mental health and lead to issues like depression. It is difficult to simply stop an addiction. 3. Studying science, technology and society (STS) is important to properly apply technology in daily life and avoid negative effects of overuse. STS can show how technology can positively contribute to society.

In this photograph, the issue or problem depicted is that we became the slaves of science and
technology, specifically in this
photo is by gadgets- social media,
internet and the like. As you can
see the person or the individual in
the photo is black and for me it
really speaks so many reasons as
to why it is black. In the photo, all
of the five senses is covered with
wires and it is connected to the
gadget- technology. For me it
simply means that because of the
invention of 'social media' and
'internet', we seem to have been
controlled by it. What is see are
always on the media, what people
commented on your post, the
picture or selfie they posted, what
we hear is the songs that are
explicit, bad news from all over
the country that is affects us, what
we say- post online, chat to your
friends and the like are not that
100 percent true.

2. This particular issue impact the


well-being of humans today by
simply being addicted to it and not
knowing when and how to stop,
avoid and prevent. Addiction is a
drug that you can't just stop it when someone say stop, it takes time to overcome it, slowly. And
it has a great impact today because when you're addicted on what everybody say to your post,
how many likes or reacts you get, this kind of personality is very dangerous as it leads to mental
issues, like depression, suicidal thoughts.

3. Studying and learning STS as an academic field is important for people because as said above
we need to know how to properly apply science and technology on daily lives, because if not this
will lead to as the person on the photo. Also, because of all the negative effects that science and
technology encounter, it is now their time to show that STS have a lot more positive to contribute
to the society.
