Discussion on Larger Than Life Founders
At any given point leadership aspects play a very important and primary role in both
the success and failure of any given company. Therefore, leadership quality should be taken
with a lot of consideration when it comes to running a company or organization. A good
example of leadership quality with organizational and company management is that Steve job
and the apple company computers in conjunction with Richard Branson responsible for the
Virgin company among many other unmentioned individuals (Krasnoff, 2015). Ultimately,
most of the times the future of any given organization or company is always uncertain or
unknown. However, the given leaders often go out of their way and might to prove their
aspect of success globally. Ultimately, not only do the given leaders prove out to the world of
the successfulness but also the fact that they exist as more than a life time founders of their
companies (Higgs & Dulewicz, 2016). Moreover, this given aspect and factor can essentially
attributed to their critical thinking and effective leadership skills. Additionally, the dedication
and hard work that each given leader puts in place to ensure that their companies are
successful.
Taking all the wits to ensures that tier companies are success doe not essentially mean
that the given leaders in in total dominance over the company. None the less, in a given
opinion one can say that the given leaders have been successful in guiding, managing and
leading their company through their skills in effective supervision and management
(Krasnoff, 2015). Ultimately, appoint to note is that the given leaders might turn out to be the
best in the companies’ existing management team due to their ability and leadership quality
in coming up and establishing both the mission and vision or the companies. Additionally,
with their qualities the given leaders can significantly exist and offer some form of
encouragement to other company members in finding the right path to accomplish both the
mission and vision of the company (Krasnoff, 2015). Consequently, the given leaders have
the both the power and authority needed in guiding the company on the right direction at the
stipulated time but not necessarily to dominate the company. Therefore, they have to make
sure that they put in the required efforts to effect the achievement of the company’s set goals.
Upon a closer look of things, the above-mentioned leadership aspects are the main
reasons that the given mentioned leaders Steve Jobs and Richard Branson are well known all
over the world with recognition of their efforts and work (Higgs & Dulewicz, 2016).
Contrarily, while the given leaders have a sole duty of leading the operations of the company
it is certain that the management of a company or organization does not entirely depend on
one person. Therefore, it is often important for the leaders to establish a good succession plan
or strategy that will ensure the company’s success even when they leave the company or
organization. None the less, this aspect is also the reason as to why both the apple computer
and the Virgin company have managed to stay successful even at the absence of the given
CEOs.
