Methodology Zain

This study aims to understand how safety practices in the oil and gas industry can be improved to help prevent hand and finger injuries. The researchers will survey 300 workers at oil and gas sites using a 20-item questionnaire, and conduct individual interviews to understand safety information and accident prevention. Data will be collected and analyzed using SPSS software from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and secondary sources. Results will be measured on a ratio scale and reported as percentages, with a p-value of less than 0.50 used to determine significance. The goal is to evaluate current safety performance and identify ways to increase safety levels in oil and gas sites.

METHODOLOGY:

This study is looking for the exploration research which aims to get the knowledge and to
understand that how oil and gas industry workers improve on getting the safety practices and to
gain the great performance of the industry which will help them to avoid getting into accidents of
injuries on hands and fingers and helping the workers to protect themselves from getting injured
[ CITATION Kha17 \l 1033 ].

The study will look into the major oil and gas projects and fields to check how the practices of
safety are working in the sites and evaluating that how employees are acting during their work
time and place and also measuring the safety performance into the oil and gas sites. The research
also aims to find out that how the safety performance can be increased into the level in the oil
and gas sites. The research methodology will focus on the three categories of it including
sampling, measures, and data collection.
Sampling:
The study of the safety performance and safety practices and the hazards that causes human hand
and fingers injuries is to prevent them from harm and also the risk of it. Conducting the
information from the oil and gas site is through the surveying of questionnaires, interviews from
the workers, and also from the primary sources like direct science and Google scholar. The
interviews will be conducted individually to gain the data that the employees have enough
information about how to prevent their hands and fingers from injuries. The population of the oil
and gas site is estimated at 400 employees. 300 questionnaires are prepared and distributed to the
employees. The questionnaire consists of 2 parts A and B which have 20 items. These items
include the gender, year of service, position at the site and educational certificates, etc. [ CITATION
Pro15 \l 1033 ]

Data Collection:
The research consists of descriptive actions and experiment training to gain the idea for the first
action that they take while getting into accidents also knowing that how the accident can be
avoided. The data collected will be accrued through the software SPSS of the series of a
questionnaire, interviewing, and observations. The data collection is also done with the help of
online websites, books, articles, or published journals.
Measure:
The data collected can be measured through the scale of ratio after evaluating the interviews and
questions through the software SPSS. The results will be in the percentage% form and
determined with the P value less than 0.50 (p<0.50).
