Palo Alto Basic Lab Setup

To add a Palo Alto firewall to a lab: 1. Upload the Palo Alto software folder to the /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/ directory. 2. Run the command /opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions to connect the firewall to the management interface. 3. Open the firewall console on VNC to view the automatically assigned IP address or assign a static IP.

PALO ALTO BASIC LAB SETUP

➢ HOW TO ADD PA ON LAB.

/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/

Upload this folder on above path

( JFYI inside folder software version file is 9.0.9)

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
( Here Connect PA with Mgmt Inteface and first time is DHCP so it will take automatic ip address
from your home router ) – You can also assign Static Ip address.
➢ Open firewall console on VNC to check management inteface Ip address.
( IN PA 9 version firewall ask change new password)
➢ Open PA on Any web browser with mangament ip address
➢ Follow Below Screen shot for more configuration.
