A. COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course shall focus on the process of integrating different systems and
software applications by examining current and emerging trends, strategies,
and techniques for developing systems integration solutions effectively.

B. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

LO1. Analyze the appropriateness of a decision to in-source or out-source IT


services in a given situation.

LO2. Create a testing environment and design a stress test using appropriate
tools and techniques that impact system performance.

LO3. Implement an enterprise integration middleware platform.

G. GRADING SYSTEM

Each Midterm and Final Term shall be distributed with a weight of 50.0%. The
Final Grade shall be obtained by adding 50% of the Midterm Grade and 50% of
the tentative grade in the final term or computed as:

50% (Midterm Grade) + 50% (Tentative Final Grade) = 100% (Final Grade)

H. ONLINE CLASSROOM POLICIES

a. Common

I. Participation in the in-class activities are a necessity. If a


student cannot attend a class, team mates and instructor
must be informed beforehand.

II. Submission of assignments, projects and any take home


activities must meet the deadline as specified. There will be a
penalty of 10% per day of late submission of assignments
and project deliverables (including weekends and holidays).

b. Specific

I. The student may copy or download lectures and presentations


from the different learning platforms such as GC LAMP and
Facebook Group that will be created by the respective instructor.

II. Non-submission of final project and completion of final exam on


the specified date will incur an incomplete grade.
