"My Life as Catholic; Living the Ten Commandments"

When God gave the commandments to Moses in Mt. Cana the whole of
humanity has been obliged to follow those to attain and live the life of holiness.

Ten commandments mean a path to holy life for me. As Catholics and
people of God, we need to understand the very reason of our life, why we are here
and why do we exist. For the Love of God, all living creatures have brought to life
but we as human being we were created in the likeness of God. We serve as a
mirror of the supreme being. Ten commandments allow us to do good and to not
be conquered by evil. Nowadays and even before, temptations and the act of evil
still exist.

Being Catholic my life serves as my own path to God's kingdom.


Recognizing Christ as my savior is a big factor that will affect my life as a
Catholic, but it doesn't mean that I will already achieve the holiness of the Catholic
life. Ten commandments are a big factor to all the catholic and it is my obligation
to follow this. How does it matter? Ten commandments teach us the right to
perform a righteous act and avoid doing evil or committing mortal or grave sin.

Ten Commandments leads me to live the moral/righteous life that God


wanted to live by every Human being. It brought me to the realization that God is
the only supreme being in the world and I need to praise him for his act of love that
He gave me life and send me to this world to exist and witness the beauty of his
creation. Ten commandments are divided into two, Commandments for God and
Commandments for neighbors. Worshiping materials, money and other false god is
an act of evil, there are no other gods except God itself, I've realized that materials
and money are temporary possession, we can't take things to the afterlife with us
but only our human souls. It strongly affects my moral and religious life because I
can give praise and honor our Lord as the Greatest of all things, I managed to give
importance to the sabbath day which is the most important day for we will be with
Christ and join him in the eucharist. Our neighbors or fellow being is exactly our
equal, there's no one greater than the other. Our neighbors serve as our family as
well, they define who we are but not to exceed to the point to judge as based on
what we do for a living. Hurting or killing our fellow beings will not make us
stronger and it is completely no sense to conduct this act for it is the temptation of
Evil. We follow the series of commandments for our neighbor's good and for the
intention that we are imitating the life of Christ.

In conclusion with this, ten commandments were bestowed over to us as our


passage to be with God and enter his kingdom in heaven. While we are in the state
of our human body God shows his deepest love for us. Even though He is in the
Kingdom of heaven, God's presence reigns over the Catholic Church for we
believed that God is living in our hearts, we feel and proudly embrace that God is
our father, creator, and the supreme being of all kinds. Follow the ten
commandments for it will make us worthy to enter the kingdom of God, this serves
as our reparation on the second coming of God in our lives. Live in holiness,
appreciate God's Love, follow his teachings, and most especially serve the Lord
with kindness.
