Horex 1953 Regina 350cc ohv
Horex was a German motorcycle brand and was founded in 1923 in Bad Homburg by Fritz Kleemann.
The name Horex is derived from Ho, Homburg and Rex , meaning King in Latin.
Only five years after the end of the second world war Horex brought the 350cc Regina on the market.
For 1950 this was a dream motorcycle and soon turned out to be a bestseller for Horex.
It was a beautiful single cylinder machine with modern telescopic fork, straight way rear suspension,
chrome-plated tank and chrome-plated exhaust silencers.
The alloy full drum brake hub, was a real sensation.
The rims were light alloy and for aesthetes among motorcycle fans, this was an extremely handsome

motorcycle.
A fully enclosed drive chain gave a clean appearance and reduced noise.
The 350cc OHV engine with two-port aluminium cylinder head and 4-speed gearbox was swift and
powerfull and had 20hp on the tap, which gave the Regina a top speed of around 130 km/h (81 MPH)
This beautiful restored Horex Regina presented here, is finished in metallic candy apple red and is a real
head turner.
Not only the looks are stunning but also the deep exhaust tone is breath taking.
