The two teachers have both similarities and differences in their teaching styles. Both use teacher talk and language learning strategies, but have different approaches to motivation. Compare and contrast the two teachers’ teaching styles. What do they do similarly?

What do they do
differently?

Which approach(es) does each teacher use? Explain.

Which technique(s) from these teachers' lessons would you be interested in incorporating in your own
classroom lessons?

Based on what I’ve watched before the two teachers have different teaching styles even similarities too.
The similarities of both teachers are they used the method of teacher talk, 80/20; they used also the
language learning strategies for both students. They’re differences is they have not the same motivation
as they start the lesson. The approaches I observe on Teacher Nancy is the Communicative Approach
which I enjoyed the most, she’s excellent on how to connect the lesson with their group activities.
However, on the side of Teacher Karen is the Comprehension Approach because of a research paper
prepared by Teacher Karen student will be able to use their own comprehension that will evaluate their
learning.

For me, both Communicative and Comprehension because this is the main need of students to learn
very well and so as enhance and gain confidence.
