MANULLANG & KOLOPAKING RE–BRANDING

INTRODUC TION

As a law–firm with rich experience, Manullang & Kolopaking is looking to


make a bolder statement of its brand image. The project is motivated with a
brand new visual concept that is inspired by the values of the company itself.
To be differentiated from the other local law–firms, the branding has to show
the strenghts by giving a unique visual experience.

Well–known with its international clients that reside in Indonesia, Manullang


& Kolopaking need to communicate with similar ‘language’, which is through
a refreshed visual brand. The new approaches that we are creating are;
Dynamic, Flexible, Friendly, and Professional look. Which is equipped with a
new set of colours, a new set of fonts, a new photography directions, and
a refreshed logo.
LOGO R ATIONALE

The new logo is made from the original type–face, while to add more meanings to the “&”, by creating a
circle outside. The circle is to represent a rather friendly relationship between Manullang & Kolopaking
with the clients, and also how the company position itself (as a partner to the clients). The circle is also
give a sense of firmness and unity. A new treatment of the logo usage is also added to give a modern
look, that is to bolden up the initials.

The font is still the same, while the treatment of the font is explored. Which is through the thickness,
and a more letter-spacing treatment.
