Religion has become a very important aspect in development of civilizations and
cultures. In fact, most ancient societies based their worldviews on religion, and it
has been proven to be beneficial to the attainment and maintenance of social stability and cohesiveness.

Activity 2: Imagine
The learners will be grouped into 4. Let them listen to John Lennon’s song Imagine. Give them 15
minutes to discuss the possible consequences if society has no religion.
