13.-14.) What is the difference of the court used in singles and in doubles?
In badminton, the distinction between singles and doubles concerns the number of
players on the court, the dimensions of the court, and the rules of operation. There is one
player at each end of the court in singles, and there are two players at each end of the court
in doubles. Second, the dimensions of the single court are smaller than in doubles. Finally,
there are variations in service law between singles and doubles, including service caps and
service rotation

 Clear- the shuttle soars high in a high arc and falls into the court behind the
opponent.
 Drop- the shuttle falls gently and just clears the net.
 Drive- it is a hard stroke hit on a straight line.
 Smash / kill- it is a hard stroke hit sharply downward
