Topic 1: STUDY

1. Are you a student or are you working?

I’m a senior at Saigon University, which is one of the best public school in the nation. Admission is
incredibly competitive so I’m very proud of being a student here.

2. What are you studying?

Well, I’m majoring in Foreign Language, especially in tourism. So as you can guess I mainly learn about
the tourism overview, geography, culture of our and other country. Moreover, in our ciriculum, I also
have the opportunity to learn from experience in some our field trips.

3. What’s the most difficult part of your study?

Well, for the most part, I’d say it’s a workload, I mean there are so many assignments and students
are always under a lot of pressure from deadlines. But on the other hand, the exams are quite
predictable and I can breeze through them with a bit of revision.

4. What do you dislike about your school?

As wonderful as SGU is, I guess there are several things that leave a little to be desired, like with most
schools. For example, I think the facilities are not quite up to par and the capacity of the learning
facilities is not enough to accommodate the whole student population. I do hope this will change
soon.

5. What are you going to do when you graduate?

I believe that tourism is a profitable field which brings a lucrative income. Of course, at the begining I
may work as a tour guide, but after many years, I my self will gain enough knowledge and experience
to be a tour operater. That’s my dream job.
