Some of the attention getters I would use would be Hocus Pocus (teacher) everybody focus (students).
This strategies will be use if the students are distracted doing something else, the purpose of those words
will be to get the attention of the students and return to the lesson.
I will also use popsicle sticks if the students are not participating in class discussions.
