Filipino Values Positive Negative Justification
1. utang na loob A O Positive because they return the
favor for the good deeds but
negative when they ask for
unlimited favour
2. ningas cogon F T Positive because sometimes we
are waiting for something to
happen, which sometimes give
benefit. Negative when delaying
activities if the deadline is not yet
over, they are too relax.
3. bayanihan C P Positive when people cooperate
and negative when they only
cooperate with the group of people
only on the activities that benefit all
4. bahala na E B Positive when they leave
unfinished job but negative
because they depend to the acts of
nature
5. close family ties Q H Positive when it is about love and
unity for family but negative when
they become dependent to the
parents and relatives
6. pakikisama J K Positive when join all activities of
the group but negative when the
person only joined and in the end
became dependent on the group
effort
7. hiya G S Positive because they patiently
wait before they talk to someone if
the favour is not yet given back but
negative because they are
impatient to talk to the person if the
promise will not be fulfilled on time
8. Manana habit E F Positive when they leave
unfinished job but negative
because they wait until things
happen at the right time and
condition
