2020-Present ​Student Teacher​, Stoner Avenue Elementary 
Teaching Kindergarten in a Dual Language Program in Spanish. Created and 
taught ELA, ELD, and Mathematic lessons. Taught whole-group, half of the class, 
small groups, and one-on-one. Provided feedback to my guiding teacher in her 
lessons/ unit planning. Tested students in their math tests and in CORE Spanish 
Phonics Survey. Observed guiding teacher test students in DIBELS. 
2019-Present ​Spanish Tutor, S​ tudent is in Mark Twain Middle School 
Create lessons for a current 6th grader who is in a Spanish Program. Prepared 
student when she was in 5th grade to pass an entrance exam into Mark Twain’s 
Spanish Program.  
2019-2020 ​AVID Tutor,​ SMMUSD: Lincoln and John Adams middle schools 
Facilitated groups of 4-6 7th or 8th grade students. Taught a mini lesson 
when students couldn't solve the problem themselves. Corrected and 
graded students’ Tutorial Request Form. 
2015-2019 ​UCLA BruinCorps 
April 2017-June 2018 Team Leader:  
Lead a group of 5-7 Corps Members by reminding them of 
deadlines to paperwork and helping them with any concerns they 
had at their schools. Co-created two Spring Family Involvement 
Events (2017 and 2018). Lead and co-created​ ​Winter Family 
Involvement Events. Co-organized with the schools and afterschool 
programs. Tutored and tracked 4 students: two kindergarteners in 
Beethoven Elementary and 2 in 8th graders in Mark Twain Middle 
School (2017-18). Tutored and tracked 3 students 7th and 8th 
graders in Mark Twain M.S. (2016-17). 
October 2015-April 2017, October 2018- June 2019 Corps Member: 
Tutored and tracked three 4th graders in Nora Sterry Elementary. 
(2018-19). Translated and supported a student that had arrived from 
Mexico and only spoke Spanish. Tutored and tracked 3 10th graders 
in Executive Prep Academy high school. Co-created two Winter 
Family Involvement Events (2016 and 2019).
