LAPORAN AKHIR (English)

(1) Pulse code modulation (PCM) is a method of digitally representing sampled analog signals, such as sound waves, by assigning numeric values or code words. This document discusses PCM and its use in communication. (2) The document reviews literature on PCM, including quantization, sampling, and modulation. It also describes simulating a PCM system in LabVIEW with modules for signal generation, sampling, quantization, encoding, decoding, and demodulation. (3) Testing the PCM simulation with different sampling values showed that the demodulated signal depends on the pulses sent by PCM, which devices can interpret as commands.
