Science 3 Proper Ways of Using Light

This lesson plan aims to teach students about safety when using light. It will show pictures of both bad and good practices for using light sources and have students identify which are safe and which could cause harm. Examples that will be discussed include looking directly at the sun, reading in the dark, and using sunglasses or an umbrella on sunny days. Students will then practice analyzing new pictures of light usage and listing potential harms. For evaluation, students will list and illustrate 3 proper ways to use light and for homework will draw examples on a short paper.
