Papa: We need to create an emergency communication plan. Since we all know my brother we will

to reach him after the disaster.

Kid 1: Dad, I’ve recently read that we need to prepare a disaster supply kit.

Papa: And what does it consist son?

Kid 2: First aid kit, a mask, a can opener, a flashlight with extra batteries or preferably a crank model, any
necessary medication, sturdy shoes, goggles or another form of eye protection, and a battery powered
radio.

Papa: Okay so all of this will be stored in the emergency cabinet, so anyone can get this immediately.

Kid 2: We’ve read the Red Cross website for more information about earthquake. Also, it says that
“although it may seem safe to stay at home and wait for the start of an eruption, doing so could be
dangerous”
Kid 1: So we need to follow the authorities’ instruction and leave the area before the disaster begins.

Papa: You’ve done so well kids.

Mama: We’re so proud of you.
