Two-Way Slab Design Based On ACI 318-19 Using Finite Element Method Input Data & Design Summary

This document provides a summary of the design of a two-way concrete slab using finite element analysis and based on ACI 318-19 code provisions. It includes the input parameters of the slab geometry, material strengths, loads and reinforcement details. The analysis determined bending moments, deflections and punching shear capacity which were all verified to be adequate based on the code design requirements. Reinforcement sizes and spacing in the top and bottom of the slab were designed to satisfy the bending and shear demands at critical locations.
