I. Objectives
 Analyze art elements and principles in the production of work following the style of Mannerist and
Romanticism arts.
 Identify distinct characteristics of arts during the Mannerist and Romanticism periods
 Use artworks to derive the traditions/history of a Mannerist and Romanticism periods

II. Subject matter

 Topic: Arts of the Mannerist and Romanticism periods


 Materials: laptop, bond paper, pen and picture
 Reference: Arts

Preparation
A. Activity
 Simon Says, Draw! (5 min activity)
 After they done draw, they are going to present
it in class

B. Analysis
 Using your own words and understanding,
what can you say about the artworks before
and now? Present your drawing in front of the
class

I can see that the arts before and then, they are
changing in terms of form and methods. I think it’s
because of the technology and the way people
interpret arts nowadays.
That’s a good explanation you got there Group 1.
C. Abstraction
Our activity has something to do with our discussion
today! We are going to talk about Arts of the Mannerist
period and Romanticism periods. We are going to
distinguish their characteristics.

IV. Assesment

 Art Exhibit Activity


 Individual work
 Instructions:
 The class will express their feeling or
emotions through drawing using the
knowledge the knowledge that they
had learned during the discussion
 Material: bond paper and coloring
materials
 All work will be posted on the board to
form a collection of their art exhibit.
 The students will write an explanation
at the back of their work
 Some selected/volunteer students will
explain their work in front of the class

 Grading:
50% written/explained explanation
30% drawing
20% Enthusiasm
