A safety policy is the core document for managing safety in any organization, including construction companies. The policy must be signed by the most senior member of management to demonstrate their commitment. It is their continuing role to ensure the requirements in the policy are followed by all managers, supervisors, and employees. Safety and main principle of safety management was previously discussed. However, we need to put everything in practice. How to they relate to the workers and employee? Communicating the
practices and procedures developed by a business requires a powerful tool, and this is the safety policy. Safety policy is the core document in the management of safety anywhere, not just in
construction industry.

Management commitment must be demonstrated by the most effective means. For most contractors, the law requires that this I done by issuing a safety policy statement, a document signed and
dated by the most senior member of the management team. The continuing role of management is then to ensure that the requirements of the policy are actively carried out by managers, supervisors
and employee alike.
