presence and severity of pressure sores of every patient in the hospital at some between 9 a.m. and
6 p.m. on a specific day.
What is the population in this project?
The patients who experience bed/pressure sores in the general hospital.
What factors will make it difficult to assess every patient whom medical records report?
o Everyday, there will be changes on the number of patients who will experience bed
sores.
o The number of patients admitted everyday will be different.
o Bed sore is not an important matter for the hospital to record it, therefore, accumulation
of the data will be difficult.
