Facebook Hard Questions B SWOT Analysis

Introduction
Marketing spending plan was controlled by production department with a prime focus on
providing inexpensive products. During the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis the company nearly
got insolvent, however with the Vision of Chairman Lee it completely turns its fortune
around and in 2002 was noted the top 25 most important business in the world. When Kim
was employed as a Chief Marketing Officer in 2000 the business was not even listed. He
rearranged Facebook Hard Questions B as a global brand and educated his divisional
managers to comprehend marketing and its significance.

Problem Statement
Facebook Hard Questions B's transition from a product based to a marketing business is not
going as efficiently as planned. Overcoming the reluctance of divisional supervisors to
incorporate marketing successfully is still a major obstacle. Creating a consistent brand name
identity throughout the whole world and employing marketing methods that best fits the local
culture is no simple task.

Situational Analysis
Yun had a quite clear image in his mind about how Facebook Hard Questions B can
transform from a low end to a high-end product service provider. He understood that change
can only be done through positioning Samsung as a company offering high-end products and
this might only be done through high level of marketing.
In spite of having a clear vision about how to develop Facebook Hard Questions B brand
name, with a potential support of its executives, Yun faced a number of marketing difficulties
in early years of its efforts.
Among the marketing difficulties for Yun was the understandings of executives about the
value of marketing. They considered marketing and selling as exact same tools and believed
that quality products do not needed marketing for increasing sales. As their focus towards
marketing was quite low in their previous company practices, and the existing marketing
requirement was too much high, the space was too wider and to fill this space with incorrect
understandings about marketing was rather challenging for Yun.
As stated above, marketing focus was really low in previous practices, for that reason there
were no proper marketing spending plans for each of the product on the portfolio. Yun had a
difficulty to carry out marketing planning and to create marketing spending plans for existing
as well as for brand-new items from the very start, and this would take a big time.
A big shift would be needed in present marketing expenses to build the Samsung brand. This
would lead to increased marketing expenses for Facebook Hard Questions B and could
disturb the administration relating to increased expenditures, as they hesitated to marketing
expenditures formerly and an unexpected big shift would make them interrupt. This could
result in decreasing executive assistance for international marketing. In this scenario, Yun
faces an obstacle for justifying increased marketing expenses by showing the long-term value
of substantial marketing expenses.
