Reflection
In the Department of Education, we are saddened to hear news of malpractices of teachers in the profession.
Let us uplift ourselves and our profession. Write your commitment to complete the paragraph below.
As member of the DepEd learning community, I commit myself to help realize the DepEd mission and
vision. I promise to to be committed not only to my students, but also to the teaching profession as a whole.
This means I will follow the rules and regulations, adhere to the principles of the teaching profession. As a
teacher it feels like this is not just a job because it is a devotion to teaching children not only lessons but also
good behaviour, and therefore our first priority as a teacher is our students and their learning. And we always
take into account their learning needs and interests to learn. Therefore, we strive to meet the needs of each
individual learner by providing a variety of unique teaching methods. We work hard to motivate and engage
students, and it can be understood that not all children will learn the same way. Above all, we advocate for
students to make sure they get everything they need to become successful, educated students. And also, I do
something to help my school grow by participating and giving time in joining and be an active member of the
community and school’s organization. I am also willing to be volunteer and give my free time to school’s
programs because I want to see and be part of the school’s success.
