1.0 PURPOSE
This method statement describes the method of storage, handling and Installation of fire alarm
system as per specification for project “CONSTRUCTION OF MINI ZAYED FISHER’S MAN
WHARF FISH MARKET, ABU DHABI, UAE “
2.0 SCOPE
The Scope of work is to the method of storage, handling and Installation of fire alarm systemas per
specification for project “CONSTRUCTION OF MINI ZAYED FISHER’S MAN WHARF
FISH MARKET, ABU DHABI, UAE “All works shall be conducted in conformance with relevant
project drawings/ specifications, authorities concerned, Manufacturer Recommendations and good
industry practices.
4.16 Tester
6.0 RESPONSIBILITY
6.1 Project Manager shall be responsible for overall project execution, he will coordinate with
client and head office, progress monitoring, attending review meeting, resource management,
overall he will be responsible for timely completion of project in accordance to all contractual
requirements.
6.2 Project Engineer shall be responsible for co-ordination and monitoring construction activities
and construction groups and ensure that work is done as per specification and approved
drawings and all safety measures are implemented. Allocation of manpower and machineries in
consultation with construction manager
Achieving target progress, backlog if any, he will consult with construction manager for its
recovery action plan.
Monitoring whether work is going on as per approved method
statement/drawing/specification etc.
Monitoring lines, levels as per approved drawing from authorities.
Monitoring timely materials supply at construction location.
Raising Inspection request and other necessary inspection and test records and forward to
QA/QC Engineer for further process.
6.3 Site Engineer:
Preparing daily progress repot / site report
Engagement of manpower and machineries in work as required.
Verifying line, level etc.
Supervising every individual activity.
Initiating for Inspection requests and other necessary inspecting records.
6.4 Surveyor
Shall be responsible for checking & setting out alignments, levels etc.
Preparation of Survey Records.
6.5 Safety Officer shall be responsible for monitoring and implementation of HSE requirements,
daily checking of work permit, supervising whether each worker are using necessary PPE.
Supervising whether each worker is working in safe manner following applicable safety rules
and regulations.
