Lesson Plan: A. Cognitive Objectives

This lesson plan is for a 6th grade elementary class on March 16th. The 50-minute lesson will teach students about the parts of the body. Students will practice vocabulary like body parts and match body parts to the 5 senses. Through explanations, exercises, conversations and group work, students will learn to name body parts, write them, and use them in sentences. By the end of the lesson students will be able to name and identify body parts, as well as use new vocabulary correctly. The teacher will evaluate students through oral assessments and exercises in their notebooks and worksheets.
