Dear Parents,
Greetings from Adventist International School, Negombo!
Ref: Applications for Edexcel London OL /AS / AL examinations May/June 2021
As you all are aware due to the prevailing situation the May/June Exam series 2021 is cancelled. As
informed by the Pearson’s another exam series will be held later in this year for the IGCSE Exams and the
Oct / Nov series will be held for the AS and AL exams as usual.
The students are given the option to select
• Teacher Assessed Grades or
• Write the exams held in Oct/Nov series 2021
If students are selecting the option for Teacher Assessed Grades please follow the instructions given
below.
1. The students will have to clear off their school fees and any arrears pending.
2. Once the school fees are cleared, a letter will be given from the office including all instructions to
follow in the registration process.
3. Once you get registered, please take a printout of the “Statement of Entry”
4. Along with the Statement of Entry, your exam fees should be paid to the school business office
before March 10, 2021 (Price list for the subjects are attached below)
Please note that
• Students must register ONLY for the subjects or the units that you are planning to apply for Teacher
Assessed Grades in May/June Series 2021.
• You will NOT be allowed to TRANSFER any subjects/units to Oct/Nov Series once the registration
is done for the subjects.
• Students are given the opportunity to apply for Teacher Assessed Grades for some subjects/units
and write the exams for the other subjects/units in Oct/Nov series.
• If exams are done in two sittings you will receive two certificates.

Following are the dates for registration.


Start End

Normal registration period 03 February 10 March

Late registration period: Stage 1 Late penalty 11 March 05 April

Late registration period: Stage 2 Late penalty 06 April 26 April
