Dear Parents of Children in Room 214 :

As we continue to offer our families both remote and hybrid learning options for Quarter 4, I am
committed to making your and your child’s experience as smooth as possible. Today, I am
writing to share with you our daily schedule. My communication forms are Remind App, Ray
teacher website (ericaschuch.weebly.com), Google Classroom ‘Stream’ page, and email. Please
look at the schedules posted on Google Classroom under ‘classwork’ for simultaneous schedule
and Wednesday’s schedule.

Students Learning Remotely


Beginning April 19, 2021, our remote learning schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Fridays is detailed below. Students who are learning from home every day will follow this
schedule.

12:15-1:45 Math Block (break @1:35-1:45) Synchronous & Asynchronous

1:45-2:45 Specials Synchronous

2:45 Dismissal - End of Day (Log Off - End of Day)

Our remote learning schedule on Wednesdays is a little bit different, as all students will be
learning from home that day. On Wednesdays we will follow the schedule below.

8:45-9:15 Writing & Morning Meeting Synchronous

9:15-10:20 ELA Block Synchronous & Asynchronous

10:20-10:30 Break/GoNoodle n/a

10:30-11:30 Math Block Synchronous & Asynchronous

11:30 Lunch & Dismissal [End of Day] Asynchronous [“Choice Board”]

Students Learning at School


Students who are returning for in-person instruction will start their day at 9:00am and will be
dismissed at 4:00pm. There was a letter sent to families ‘Hybrid Learning’ during Quarter 4 on
email. Please refer to that letter for more details. Look on my Ray teacher website
(ericaschuch.weebly.com) for the Pod A/B schedule posted. Please remember, that when
students in the hybrid schedule are at home, they will engage in remote learning. On your
child’s at-home days, they will follow the first schedule stated above.
In preparation for hybrid learning, please take time to become familiar with our daily health
protocols. I also encourage you to review the Reopening Guide for Parents for more
information. Specifically, please take time to review the new attendance updates that are
included at the end of the Reopening Guide for Parents.
I know that this schedule and routine may generate many new questions for you and your child.
To support you, we will send messages home on Remind, teacher website, or Google Classroom
‘stream’ page for updates. Check Seesaw App for assignments to be completed on Thursday of
each week that were assigned at the beginning of the week. Assignments for reading and math
will be posted on Google Classroom ‘classwork’ tab each week as well.
