The group "EYs' Halo-Halo" consists of 5 members who have decided to start a halo-halo business. They chose to focus on halo-halo because it is a popular summer dessert in the Philippines and represents a good business opportunity. Their halo-halo will be different than traditional versions by using cooked ingredients. They plan to source local ingredients like sago, leche plan, pinipig, ube halaya, and macapuno to make a delicious halo-halo. Each member will invest 200 pesos initially with potential additional investment as the group decides whether to operate in each member's barangay to ensure all have a role in the business.

EYs’ HALO-HALO

Halo-halo is considered as one of the best refreshing desserts

during summer and we, Filipino are really fun of it. The dessert is made of
mixed sweetened fruits, evaporated milk and crushed ice. This is not just a
simple dessert but also a good business idea.
As tasked to form a group consisting five members, the members agreed to
be in a group and brainstormed about what kind of business to do. Since
it’s very hot today, they came up with the idea of doing a halo-halo
business since it’s very popular today because of the season.
‘Business name’ is a type of a business where the proponents will make
and sell halo-halo as their product. The proponents are determined to be
different. They choose to be apart from the traditional way of making the
product. They decided to cook their own ingredients. The main ingredients
of making a halo-halo are crushed ice, white sugar, milk, sweetened red
beans, garbanzos, saba banana, kamote, jackfruit and kaong. There are
also cooked sago, leche plan and pinipig. If available, the proponents will
also add ube halaya, and macapuno to make sure the finished product will
be delicious and worth the price which is very affordable. Further
information regarding the selling price will be updated according to the
prices of the ingredients available but will surely affordable.

The initial investment will be 200 pesos each member but they additional
investment are proposed in the plan since they are still deciding if they are
going to locate the business in each Barangay’s where the five proponents
are residing in. This is to ensure that all members have their own function
to the growth of the business.
