CATEGORY : COMMUNICATION

1. FOCUSED ISSUE

This week has been quite hectic for most practicum students. This is because most of us will
be observed for our final minor subjects. Therefore, it is also a stressful for most of us.

2. ANALYSIS

Since the stress is quite overwhelming, communication is very important.


Miscommunication will leads to misunderstanding. Some misunderstanding also stems out
from the lacking of information given. I had some miscommunication with the teachers as
the information were not successfully relayed.

3. PAST RESEARCH (LITERATURE REVIEW) TOWARD ISSUE

According to Pascal (2017), mental model also related to the miscommunication. People did
not really relay the information they wanted and they thought it had.

4. SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENTS

I had listed few steps to overcome this problem.


1. Reconfirm the information with the teacher
2. Join the school's official Whatsapp group

5. PERIOD OF TIME TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE

6. FOLLOW UP ACTIONS

I will ask my mentor to include me and my practicum mate in the official Whatsapp group.

The steps taken are very effective. I managed to gain information on the school's program
and prepare for it.

9. CONCLUSION

In short, miscommunication is unavoidable but can be solved.
