1) Differentiate between living and non-living things.

2) Learn that seven life processes are needed for things to be


living:

 They can move


 They breathe
 They reproduce and make offspring
 They excrete waste products
 They need food
 They grow
 They have senses

3) Know where animals get their food (energy).

 Some animals like rabbits, goats and sheep get their energy by
eating only plants

 Some animals like wolves, lions, snakes and foxes get their
energy by eating other animals

 Human’s energy comes from eating animals and plants


4) Know the five senses and which part of the body uses it.

6) Know how plants make their own food (energy).

To understand that plants move towards the sun where light is facing.

Plants make food by using sunlight to make sugars which turns into
energy. Green parts of a plant use the light and carbon dioxide from the
air. As a waste product, oxygen is released.

8) Know the names of different animals and their offspring (young).
