2. In your own words and understanding, why do you think ethical behavior is necessary?
Ethical behavior is necessary because it's serves to us a guide to do or to act ethically.
It's about doing the right thing. It is one of the key foundations to having good, trusting
relationships with each other specially when you already have a work. It's actually has a
great impact on personality. The way you act is the reflection of yourself.
It is important to understand that ethical behavior in the workplace can stimulate
positive employee behaviors that lead to organizational growth, just as unethical
behavior in the workplace can inspire damaging headlines that lead to organizational
demise.
Simply put, organizational stakeholders that include individuals, groups and
organizations of various types enter into a relationship with a business organization for
that business to protect their interests in a specific way. Therefore, there is a mutual
expectation that stakeholders and business organizations act in an ethical manner and
in each other’s best interest.
A decision to act unethically, by the organization or a stakeholder, can strain the
relationship and damage the reputation of the organization. The increased risk of
reputational damage and harm from negative headlines is often the catalyst for
organizations to promote and encourage ethical behavior and prevent and report
unethical behavior. Furthermore, where many individuals are connected to social media
with mobile technology, the risk that unethical behavior will cause reputational damage
to an organization is arguably much greater that in decades past, as behavior is more
easily recorded on video, captured in photos, shared online and propelled into
headlines.
However, there are benefits of ethical behavior in the workplace beyond the avoidance
of reputational harm. An organization that is perceived to act ethically by employees can
realize positive benefits and improved business outcomes. The perception of ethical
behavior can increase employee performance, job satisfaction, organizational
commitment, trust and organizational citizenship behaviors. Organizational citizenship
behaviors include altruism, conscientiousness, civic virtue, sportsmanship and courtesy.

3. In your own words and understanding, why do you think people act unethically?
People act unethically because they think that they will not be caught of what they
are doing or there is a chances to do unethical act or maybe because of greed, time
pressure, thats why they act or do unethically. They don't even know that to do in
certain situations so that one actually believes his or her unethical behavior is right.
Employees are more likely to act unethically when they don't see their action clearly
causing harm — for example, when the victim is far away or the damage is delayed.
Unethical choices also occur when an employee feels that peers will not condemn their
actions.

4. Ethical dilemma is a situation a person faces in which a decision must be made about
appropriate behavior. A simple example of an ethical dilemma is finding a diamond ring,
which necessitates deciding whether to attempt to find the owner or to keep it.
There are two options where in whether to attempt to find the owner or to keep it. For
me the option that I will choose is to attempt to find the owner of that diamond ring. In
the first place why should I keep it when it is not my stuff. I believe to karma that's why I
do the things that I think It is more important even though I have a chance to steal or
keep it.

Based on that, please cite one ethical dilemma which you have faced in your life and tell
more about how did you resolve it.

Way back last December, I caught my brother stealing my mother's money. I really do
not know what to do. I do not know If I will tell what I saw to my mom because I'm also
thinking how she will react and what will happen to my brother. But then, I choose to do
what is right. I told my mom what I saw. After knowing, she talk to my brother and told
him that stealing is not good. After what happened, my mother told me that she's very
proud on what I've did that I choose to tell her what I saw. Also, my brother say sorry to
my mom and also yo me. He also promise that he will no longer do that again.
