Comments-Metering Skid
2020
INTRODUCTION
===========================
- This inspection was done after remove insulation of the skid piping after the leak which was appeared from a ½” bleed connection of
ball valve on the STREAM# 1.
- This inspection was done after garnet blasting for piping.
- The piping was under purging by Nitrogen (1 Bar) at the time of inspection.
============================================================================================
SCOPE OF INSPECTION
===========================
- The scope of this inspection was to check and assess the condition of the insulated piping for corrosion under insulation (CUI).
============================================================================================
INSPECTION LIMITATIONS
===========================
- A Close visual inspection was performed for all accessible piping components, as there were un-accessible locations with restricted
access, and the inspection was applied as applicable.
- UT thickness measurements were carried out on the skid piping after insulation removal, as marked on the attached ISO and general
arrangement of skid, refer to attached UT report.
- Soap test was carried out over the most of small bore piping SBP, especially which suffer from significant thickness reduction.
