Port Everglades, Florida: Kindly note that when you deliver the unit in our terminal. the driver must carry
the Dock Receipt Format that certifies that the unit under the mentioned VIN belongs to the mentioned
booking, including all the shipment details, if our terminal does not receive this document, the unit will
not be accepted at our terminal.

Electronic USCBP Validations from Port Everglades, Florida: please identify the vin number in the email
(subject) the unit that has been validated.

Procedure for accepting Previously Owned Vehicle (POV)

To ensure that acceptance of POV is done in accordance with Höegh Autoliners cargo
acceptance policy, and to mitigate the following identified risks involved in handling
and transporting POV:
Vehicles leaking dangerous substances.

Vehicles overheating or electrical malfunctions.

Unwanted, illegal and/or dangerous items within vehicles.

Committed to transport vehicles in a condition we cannot accept.

Personal injuries and/or vehicles damaged due to technical failure.

Cartagena, Colombia

Kindly let us know if the cargo is clean and has been fumigated accordingly.
Year Restriction

Nassau, Bahamas: Car units- Customs cannot accept Car units by the year of make 2010 or under this
year, unless the customer has a special permit (10 years restriction).

Kingston, Jamaica: Car units- Customs cannot accept Car units by the year of make 2014 or under this
year, unless the customer has a special permit (6 years restriction).

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic:


-Car-units - Customs cannot accept Car units by the year of make 2014 or under this year (5 years
restriction). The units from 2015 will be accepted until June 2021.
-Truck units - Customs cannot accept Truck units by the year of make 2004 or under this year (15
year restriction). The units from 2005 will be accepted until June 2021.

Cartagena or Santa Marta, Colombia: Cars/SUVs must be from the year 2021. They can only import Cars,
as Temporary Import. All the units must be cleaned.

Manzanillo, Panama: Customs cannot accept Truck units by the year of make 2010 or under this year.

Kingstown, St. Vincent: Customs cannot accept Car or Truck units by the year of make 2008 or under this
year (12 years restriction).

Paramaribo, Suriname: Customs cannot accept Car units by the year of make 2012 or under this year (8
years restriction). Customs cannot accept Busses units by the year of make 2005 or under this year (15
years restriction).

St. Georges, Grenada: Customs cannot accept Cars, H&H units by the year of make 2010 or under this
year (10 years).

Please note that from April 01st, 2021, our Q2 BAF will be as follows:

Cargo on our Shortsea Americas United States:

BAF - $64.00 per Cars, SUV or Light Duty Truck, $4.00 per weight measure (w/m) for High and Heavy
Cargo and all other cargo.

Cargo on our Shortsea Americas Mexico:

BAF - $104.00 per Cars, SUV or Light Duty Truck, $6.50 per weight measure (w/m) for High and Heavy
Cargo and all other cargo.

Cargo on our Shortsea Americas Caribbean:


BAF - $16.00 per Cars, SUV or Light Duty Truck, $0.98 per weight measure (w/m) for High and Heavy
Cargo and all other cargo.

Mafi Fee: All cargoes stuffed on MAFI trailers a demurrage fee will apply, customers will have 10 free days
and after such period a US 75.00 per day per mafi will apply, this cost must be paid in our offices or by
wire transfer

Sophisticated Cargo: Please provide us the cargo manual, battery handling care, location of battery switch
and a 24 hour phone for cargo representative.

VGM: On July 1st, 2016 new requirements to verify the gross mass weight of packed containers enters into
force under the International Convention for Safety of life at Sea (SOLAS). Shippers will be responsible for
certifying the verified Gross Mass (VGM) of all containers prior to the delivery of container to the port.

Please find below a link to our Customer Guidelines on the Hoegh Autoliners website. Here you will find
our static cargo guidelines for handling crated goods. A signed copy of the cargo stowage and securing
declaration is required with delivery of crated cargo that exceeds 10 MT. You may also view our terms
and conditions within this same area.

Customer Guidelines Cargo Stowage and Securing Declaration

Booking confirmation is subject to Höegh Autoliners AS terms and conditions, which are available upon
request. All cargo must comply with Höegh Autoliners' cargo acceptance policy. Booking confirmation is
based upon description of goods provided at the time of booking. Should the cargo, when received, not
be in accordance with the description presented, Höegh Autoliners reserves the right to refuse such cargo.
Any cargo that may be deemed illegal to be transported or to present a risk to the vessel, the crew or the
environment will be rejected.

Cargo will be freighted basis actual transport dimensions recorded at the receiving terminal.

A completed shipping note (a.k.a. dock receipt) for the cargo in question is required at the time of delivery
to the terminal for export. All cargo assistance fees, including but not limited to crane, forklift, roll trailer
stuffing / unstuffing are for the account of the merchant, and must be arranged prior to delivery /
collection from the terminal, unless otherwise stated.

It is the sole responsibility of the merchant to ensure cargo meets all applicable laws, regulations,
guidelines and requirements for importation of goods at destination. Any costs related to items not being
accepted are solely for the account of the merchant. Höegh Autoliners will not be responsible for any
claims that may arise from such refusal at destination, but shall be held harmless for any liability so
incurred.

All crated static cargo is required to meet Höegh Autoliners cargo stowage and securing requirements.
Please visit our Static Cargo Guidelines to obtain further information towards our requirements for static
cargo, as well as the Stowage and Securing Declaration. A completed and signed copy of the Stowage and
Securing Declaration must be surrendered at the time of cargo delivery to the receiving terminal for all
cargo weighing more than 10 MT.
All International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) cargo must be properly declared and approved at the
time of booking. Delivery of cargo containing IMDG material must have proper placards / markings and
accompanying documents (including but not limited to MSDS information). IMDG cargo that is not
declared at the time of booking is subject to refusal of acceptance and / or loading.

All stowage tanks that are equipped for the transportation of petroleum or chemicals must be empty and
accompanied by a gas-free certificate that is issued by a certified chemist, or certificate from manufacture
that equipment is new and has never been filled with any flammable or hazardous material.

If cargo becomes non-running during the transportation process, and is deemed to be unsafe by Höegh
Autoliners for safe towing, all costs incurred to return the cargo to a self-propelled condition will be borne
by the merchant.

All cargo is to be free and clear of dirt and debris, and cargo must be free of any personal effects. Höegh
Autoliners will not be responsible for any items left inside the unit, which are not required for the safe
operation of the unit.

The merchant shall provide an accurate weight of the goods delivered for shipment to the carrier, and
shall indemnify the carrier against all loss, damages and expenses that may arise or result from any
inaccuracies provided by the merchant.

The merchant shall ensure that it is in compliance with all applicable sanctions lists issued by various
countries and organizations, including but not limited to the United Nations, the European Union and
the United States, and undertake to indemnify Höegh Autoliners against all and any claims, and any
consequences arising from any non-compliance hereunder.
