KITCHEN -- DAY *

Kumari, a chatty middle aged woman takes out a sweet packet *

from a cover and tries to open it. Chitrali, a newly married *
woman with a long Bindi, bangles all over her hands, wearing *
a new pattu saree and a mangalsutra, stands beside Kumari and *
takes some sweets from the box placed aside and arranges them *
on plates along with some fruits. Kids shouting and playing *
and people chatting each other is heard while both Kumari and *
Chitrali are working.Krishna comes to the kitchen, moves *
closer to Chitrali and looks her while she is busy arranging *
the sweets. *

KRISHNA *
(Impatiently) *
Enthasepu chesthav?? Twaraga *
theesukura.. *

Chitrali arranging the plates replies to Krishna. Kumari *

starts arranging the plates on a tray. A buzzer sound is *
being heard in the background. *

CHITRALI *
ha aypoyindhi..vasthunna. *

Kumari places all the plates on a tray and hands it over to *

Chitrali while she moves the boxes aside. Chitrali takes the *
tray and moves out of kitchen to serve. *

Meanwhile Kumari continues arranging one more plate. Chitrali *

comes back with the empty tray and takes one more tray *
filled. A buzzer sound is heard. Both Chitrali and Kumari *
looks at the second bedroom. Kumari takes back the Tray from *
Chitrali and gives her a plate. *

KUMARI *
Idhi theesuku velli atha ki ivu. *

Chitrali takes the plate and starts moving. *

INT. OUTSIDE SECOND BEDROOM -- DAY *

Chitrali stands outside the second bedroom. The door is *

opened a little. She nervously looks inside the room through *
the small view and sees Lakshmi sitting on a wheelchair and a *
red coloured buzzer button being tied at the armrest. Kumari *
comes behind, keeps some fruits on the plate and whispers to *
Chitrali. *

INT. SECOND BEDROOM -- DAY *

Lakshmi, aged 55 sitting on a wheel chair and looks out of *

the window. The room has a single bed at one side under the *
window and side table with tablets, old spectacles, some *
bangles and Hindu religious books. *

Chitrali goes inside Lakshmi's bedroom with the plate. *

Lakshmi watches Chitrali coming as if she doesn't care about *
her and continuous looking out of the window. Chitrali stands *
beside lakshmi confused and watches Lakshmi. Chitrali watches *
here and there and opens the side plank of the wheel chair *
and keeps the plate on the plank. *

Chitrali watches Lakshmi after placing the plate but Lakshmi *

doesn't care. She slowly starts moving out of the room. *
Lakshmi observes Chitrali moving out, looks down the empty *
glass placed on the floor and presses the buzzer. *

Chitrali stops, turn back and reaches Lakshmi while Lakshmi *
has to look shows the empty glass with her eyes. Watching this, Chitrali *
at her kneels down before Lakshmi, under the buzzer and takes the *
when she empty glass and fills it with water from a jug. *

INT. HALL, HOUSE -- NIGHT *

eye level. Kumari is the last guest who is leaving and while going out *
Kumari turns back holding the door. where is this happening? *

Chitrali blushes and gives no answer. Kumari also smiles. *

CHITRALI *
sare late cheyaku. twaraga vellu. bye *

INT. BEDROOM -- NIGHT

Chitrali opens the door while Krishna waits inside sitting on

the bed. Flowers all over the bed and fruits and vegetables
on a side table. Both of them looks at each other and smile.
Chitrali slowly walks towards the bed and sit beside Krishna.
They slowly gets close. Krishna comes close to kiss Chitrali.

TRINGGGGGGGGGG....

Chitrali gets startled by the buzzer sound. She looks at the *

door, gets up from the bed and leaves. *

INT. SECOND BEDROOM -- NIGHT

A finger pressing a buzzer mounted on the armrest of a wheel

chair is shown.

Chitrali opens the door of second bedroom and switches on the

light. Lakshmi shows the water glass which is empty.

Chitrali takes the glass.

She fills it with water.

Makes lakshmi to drink.

Switches off the light and closes the door.

INT. BEDROOM -- NIGHT

Chitrali opens the door and finds Krishna sleeping. She gets
on to the other side of the bed and sleeps.

EXT. BALCONY -- DAY

Sun rises over the buildings.

INT. KITCHEN -- DAY

Chitrali cleaning the dishes in kitchen facing towards the

windows while sun rises.

office. Chitrali stands at the door waves her hand saying

Chitrali takes bath.

Chitrali haves her breakfast sitting on sofa.

Lakshmi signs for having tablets. Chitrali leaves the room

Chitrali cleaning the dishes. SHe finishes cleaning and turns

Chitrali sleeps on the bed. She listens to the music over

earphones and nods her head to the tune. She slowly starts *
tapping her feet. *

Startled by the sound, Chitrali wakes up and goes to
Lakshmi's bedroom.

INT. SECOND BEDROOM -- DAY

Lakshmi signs for food.

Chitrali keeps the lunch plate in Lakshmi's hands.

INT. BEDROOM -- DAY

Chitrali opens her trolley, takes out her clothes and keep
sit in the cupboard. She takes out a black cover. She watches
out from the door and slowly hides the bottle behind her
clothes in the cupboard.

INT. HOUSE -- DAY

Daily routine of Chitrali is shown in montage.

Chitrali gets weak and boring by the continuous daily works

and feels to get refreshed.

INT. HALL, HOUSE -- DAY

Calling bell rings. Chitrali opens the door to find out its
Kumari. Watching Chitrali, Kumari gets excited.

Kumari hugs Chitrali.

Krishna signs Chitrali to go and watch Lakshmi while Chitrali

watches back and turns to Krishna and says.

Krishna and Chitrali sleeping on the bed. Chitrali tries to

start the discussion.

Chitrali cooks food stirring the vessel, Kumari stands beside

her eating apple and replies to the last night discussion of
Krishna and Chitrali.

KUMARI

Chitrali stops stirring the vessel, turns towards Kumari.

Tringg.. buzzer sound is heard..but both of them doesn't

care.

buzzer sound. *

Tring.. buzzer sound is heard. Chitrali gets irritated and *

pulls up the whistle again and gives a look at the second *
bedroom.

Chitrali makes Lakshmi sit on the wheel chair. She brings her
out to the hall.

Chitrali makes Lakshmi sit on the wheel chair and switches on

the TV. (Chitrali keeps a plate filled with fruits in *
Lakshmi's hands and she starts eating) Chitrali continuous *
cleaning the floor with broomstick. A song which Chitrali was *
listening before using the headphone is being played in the *
TV. Listening to the song, Chitrali starts tapping her feet. *
Lakshmi (slows down eating and) watches Chitrali *
surprisingly. Chitrali starts moving the broomstick in sync
to the songs being played on TV. She turns her head towards *
Lakshmi while Lakshmi watches her surprisingly. Watching
Lakshmi, Chitrali start nodding her head and start dancing to
the song.

INT. HALL, HOUSE -- DAY

4 montage shots of Chitrali dancing to different songs being

played on different days with Lakshmi sitting at the same
position is shown. Lakshmi watches Chitrali angrily.

INT. PUJA ROOM -- DAY *

Lakshmi is sitting in the Puja Room. She is watching Krishna *

as he points various books placed at the puja place *

Chitrali looks up and Lakshmi points to an orange on the *

dining table. *

INT. PUJA ROOM - EVENING *

Chitrali keeps on writing Ramakoti and is exhausted. *

She then closes the book. Gently places it among the God *
photos. *

INT. HALL - EVENING *

Chitrali turns on the TV.. Plays a song and slowly starts to *

dance. *

As she makes a few moves, the frustration and exhaustion in *

her face are gone.. She is slowly relaxing when she hears *
TRAANNGGGGG. *

Chitrali stops dancing.. She turns back to find Lakshmi.. *

This time Chitrali doesn't respond to the buzzer.. She starts *
to dance again. *

Lakshmi is furious.. she presses the Buzzer.. TRANNNGGGG... *

Chitrali picks up the remote and increases the volume in TV.. *

Lakshmi presses the buzzer Hard.. *

Chitrali further increases the volume.. *

Lakshmi presses the buzzer harder... TRANNNGGGGG... the *

buzzer sound fills the room and Chitrali can't hear the song *
anymore. *

Chitrali is totally PISSED OFF.. she looks at Lakshmi for a *
moment.. turns off the TV and walks into her bedroom. *

INT. BEDROOM -- DAY

Chitrali takes a black cover from the cupboard. *

INT. HALL, HOUSE -- DAY

Chitrali comes to the hall holding the cover. On her way, she *
pulls the dining chair and places it infront of Lakshmi with
Teapoy in the middle. She keeps the black cover on the teapoy
and also places two glasses on the it. Lakshmi watches
Chitrali and the black cover, confused. *

Chitrali sits infront of Lakshmi, raising her saree to her *

knee, placing one leg on the chair. She takes out Old monk
bottle from the black cover. Lakshmi gets shocked watching
the bottle. Chitrali pours alochol in to the two glasses and
starts drinking it. Chitrali takes a sip and leaves a breath
relaxing herself. She watches Lakshmi and finishes the glass.
She places the glass on the teapoy, takes another glass and
showing it to Lakshmi signs if she is willing to drink.
Lakshmi watches her shockingly. While Lakshmi is sipping the
second glass, Lakshmi looks at Chitrali, takes her hand out
of the buzzer, bends forward curiously and starts talking.

LAKSHMI
Nuvu thaguthav ani Krishna ki thelusa?

Listening to Lakshmi, Chitrali gets shocked as she can speak.

Chitrali slowly keeps her leg down and lowers down her saree.
Lakshmi watches Chitrali furiously.

Chitrali thinks for a while and gives a smile. She watches

lakshmi, leans forward.

CHITRALI
Meeru matladagalarani me abbay ki
thelusa?

Listening to this, Lakshmi comes to her sense, she leans back

to the chair, sits calm and places her finger back on the
buzzer. Chitrali places her leg back on the chair and
continuous drinking.
