Grammar Snacks: Passive forms

Passive voice is usually formed by the verb to be + past participle. to


show that we are more interested in a certain part of the sentence.
* I cleaned my room (Active Voice) es cuando una persona reaiza la accion
* My My room was cleaned by me (Passive Voice) en este caso ROOM pasa a
ser el sujeto de esta frase, en la voz pasiva los objetos o cosas son los sujetos
de estas frases, y queda en pasado WAS CLEANED( fue limpiada) porque la
frase de voz activa esta en pasado, por tanto la voz pasiva puede cambiar de
tiempo gramatical: EXAMPLES:
1. *I am cleaning my room (Present Continuous- Active Voice)

*My room is being cleaned by me ( Present continuous- Passive Voice)


2. *Loads of films have been made there.( Present Perfect- Passive Voice)
