Question 1. [4 Marks]
Currently world is facing a global pandemic (coronavirus) COVID-19. Approximately most of
the countries are facing Lockdowns, Government authorities are asking people to stay at home.
a. Highlights how the field of Multimedia becomes more effective in current situation.
b. Organizations asked their employees to work from home, and many new tools become
more popular in these days such as Zoom. What are the requirements to make these
system more effective?
c. This situation will change the human behavior & life style. Do you think, this behavior
will affect the Multimedia industry. What are the upcoming challenges and their
solution for multimedia systems.

Question 2: [4 Marks]
Microsoft Teams and Zoom are two different tools that are used for distance communication.
These tools integrates different types of media such as audio, video, Screen recording etc. and
transmit over network.
Perform a comparative study and explain:
a. What are the main facilities that must be provided in a system, designed to support the
integration of different types of multimedia into a multimedia Software?
b. Also describe the features and techniques used by these software’s and identify which
one has better features and why?
Question 3: [4 Marks]
a. What issues of functionality need to be provided in order to effectively use a wide
variety of media in Multimedia applications? Your answer should briefly address how
such functionality can facilitated in general Multimedia applications.

b. The dimensions of image are given below, In 8 bits image: the size of image in MBs
will be ?
i. 980 x 860
ii. 1680 x 1470
iii. 1024 x 786
