Lesson Three Reflection.

Jawaher Al Ahbabi.

H003030854.

Al Alyaa school.

Grade 3.

In this lesson I gave the students new science topic it was about the matter and the states of the
matter, students in this lesson was able to explore how to describe the objects, recognize the
concept of matter, and distinguish between the concept of volume and mass. The lesson was for
the students in grade 3. The lesson was taken a place in team’s app, as we know the studying
nowadays is taking a place in online apps. In my third lesson of Mct observation I try to achieve
all the comment that my MCT gave it to me before to make sure that I’m on a good way to teach.
So in this lesson I try to achieve the implementing learning, time management and also one thing
I try to take more time and explain the activity for each activity. In this lesson the students are try
to learn about the matter, at the beginning of the lesson they watch a video about the matter and
states of matter, then they try to explain to the teacher what does they learn from the video, then
they show the teacher that they understand about what is the meaning of the matter and they
show object and explain why this object is matter and what is the state of this object. Teacher put
for the students game its call Balloons war here the students are choosing one balloon then they
will get a question to answer I can see the students are excited to play this game and try to
answer the question that comes to them, after that at the end of the lesson I gave them the
differentiation activity and show each group what should they do on and send the padlet link to
the chat , while the students are doing their work I try to share whit them their work to show
them what they did and show the other students if they don’t know what should they do, at the
end I ask the students to share with their friends in the class what they did and explain it , I try to
do this step because it helps the students to understand the lesson and show me if they did or not.
I can see the students was responded in the lesson because they answer the questions and try to
give me and show me that they have information about the topic and they know it. Students are
already knowing about the matter from grade tow but in a simple way so some of them are know
what is the meaning of the matter and the states and know how to say the words like matter,
mass, volume. The best way to engage the students to the lesson is to ask them if they are ready
to the lesson and show them that we will have important topic in this lesson and it’s so excited,
then ask them to have one minutes to prepare themselves to start the lesson. I start the lesson
with interesting video that explain the lesson topic of the day and tell the students that they need
to focus on the video because I will ask them some questions after the video so the students are
try to show the teacher after watching the video that they are focusing with the video to answer
the questions. In this lesson I had good experience because I try to do something new to assess
the students and it was to ask them to share and present what they did in their activity time. In
this lesson I can see that I achieve most goals that I want to achieve, such as time management,
implementing learning, explain for the students the activity more to make sure they understand
what they need to do. In the future lessons I would like to enhance the students learning in many
things, like activity, let them be part of present the lesson and show them that they are so
important in the class and their voice too.

Doing practice in each semester is the best thing in the education in HCT because doing
practice is give us chance to learn more and learn new thing each time.
