A Detailed Lesson Plan in Nature

For Kindergarten

I. Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, 95% of the pupils should be able to:
A. identify the different foods from plants and animals;
B. match the food comes from plants and animals; and
C. explain the importance of food in our body.

II. Subject Matter


A. Topic: Foods from plants and animals
B. References: DepEd, My family provides my needs (food) 2 nd Quarter Daily Plans
WEEK 15. Monday
C. Materials: : Laptop, Television, calamansi, adobo, egg, mustard, printed pictures, glue, and worksheets
D. Approach/methods: Interactive Approach
E. Values infused: Appreciate the foods we eat because God is the one who gives us food.

III. Procedure

Opening Prayer
Put your hands together, close your eyes and let’s sing
our morning prayer.

Good job. We can cook a chicken in different kinds of
recipe, like fried chicken. (Teacher will show a fried

And even the feet of a chicken we can cook it and make
a recipe like adobo.

Another food source animal is pig.
What can we get from a pig?
Very good, its pork. From the pork of a pig, we can It’s a squash teacher. It is a vegetable.

We can also get our food from plants. We call those
foods as fruits and vegetables.
Can you give an example of fruits?
