Profile of Students According to Age

Analysis: According to the age of respondents, 90.20% or 110 of respondents are aged 16-
18. While 9.80% or 12 respondents are aged 19-20.

Analysis: Among the strands, 22.10% or 27 respondents came from ABM. While 40.20% or
49 respondents are from STEM. While 29.50% or 36 respondents came from HUMSS. Lastly
with 8.20% or 10 respondents are from GAS.

Analysis: Analysis: As it shown, 77 (63.1%) are Female respondents while 45 (36.9%) are
Male respondents.

Analysis: Among of the respondents, 105 (86.1%) has an access in Wi-Fi in their homes while
17 (13.9%) doesn’t have Wi-Fi access in their homes.

Analysis: For the number 1 question 4.26% can easily communicate with their teachers and
friends.

Analysis: For the second question 4.27% found it easily to search tutorials and power point
presentation.
Analysis: According to question number 3, 4.34% can easily search e-reference sources like,
online dictionaries, encyclopedia, yearbook etc.

Analysis: As shown in number 4 question the percentage of the students when they are
connected to Wi-Fi during schooling hours they only use it for academic related issues (doing
assignment, research, online learning and writing online quiz is 3.59%.
Analysis: Then in question number 5,45.8% Strongly agree that sometimes Wi-Fi disconnect
during online learning

Analysis: In number 6, based in the result it has a percentage of 3.98% that it improves their
academic performance at school.
Analysis: In question number 7, 4.31% can easily search information relating to subject.

Analysis: In addition in question number 8, 3.63% said that it can result to bullying, crime,
trolls, stalker etc.

Analysis: More over in question number 9, 4.09% makes their academic activities much
easier.
Analysis: Lastly, in question number 10 has a 15.9% responses that they recommend their
current internet service to a friend or colleagues.

TABLE 4.1 Internet Information

Analysis: In table 4.1: presents how they are satisfied in their current internet service. As you
can see the most number of students that are satisfied with their current internet service which
have a population of 64 senior high school students with the percentage of 61%.On the other
hand a population of 41 senior high school student are not satisfied with their service provider
with a percentage of 39%.
Analysis: In question number 2, 1 respondents stated that they spend 1-2 hours in their internet
service with a percentage of 1%, there are 14 respondents state that they spend 3-4 hours with
percentage of 13.3%, 19 respondents stated that they spend 4-5 hours with a percentage of
18.1% and 71 respondent says that he/she spend 6 hours and above with a percentage of
67,6%.

Analysis: For question number 3, In the internet service that they have. The respondents who
use PLDT consist of 40% with a number of 42 and the students who use Globe consist of 18%
with a number of 19. On the other hand, the respondents who use Converge ICT consist of 41%
with a number of 43 and lastly, respondents who use Sky Broadband consist of 1% with a
number of 1 respondent.
Analysis: In question number 4, The respondent also stated what type of devices they are
using to access Wi-fi network. A respondents of 35 students with a percentage of 33.3% said
that they use laptop to access Wi-Fi network, a respondents of 19 students with a percentage of
18.1% said that they use computer to access Wi-Fi network, 50 students with a percentage of
47.6 % stated that they use smartphone and 1 student with a percentage of 1% stated that
he/she uses tablet.

Analysis: For question number 5, 25 respondents with a percentage of 23.8% stated the
reason why they select the internet service that they currently have is because, it is the best
priced option available, 32 respondents with a percentage of 30.5% says that it is the fastest
option available, a 37 respondents with a percentage of 35.2% stated that it is the most reliable
service available and lastly, 11 respondents with a percentage of 10.5% stated that it is the best
option bundled with other services.
Analysis: In question number 6, The respondent also stated that to the best of their
knowledge how much they are paying for their internet access. 56 respondents with a
percentage of 53.3% with the highest number stated that they paying for 1500, 7 respondents
with a percentage of 6.7% stated that they paid 500, on the other hand, 196 respondents with a
percentage of 18.1% stated that they paid 1000 and lastly, 23 students with a percentage of
21.9% said that they paid 2000 or above for their internet access.

Analysis: In question number 7, In how long they are using their internet service provider, 28
respondents with a percentage of 26.7% said that they are been using their internet service
provider within 0-6 months, 39 respondents with a percentage of 37.1% stated that they are
using their service provider for 6-12 months, 17 respondents with a percentage of 16.2% said
that they are using their service provider for 1-2 years and lastly, 21 respondents with a
percentage of 20% stated that they are using their internet service provider for 2 years and
more.
Analysis: Lastly, In the problems that they are facing while using Wi-Fi connection 43
respondents with a percentage of 41% stated that it is the lack of internet access, 53
respondents with a highest percentage of 50.5% said that due to frequent disconnection,
respondents with a percentage of 5.7% that it due to limited connectivity and 3 respondents with
a percentage of 2.9% that is due to less renewal period.

Table 5.1: In the satisfaction rate the results shows that 5 students with a percentage of 4.7%
rate their internet access 1 or (51% to 60%), 16 respondents with a percentage of 15% rate their
internet access 2 or (61% to 70%), 34 respondents with a percentage 31.8% rate their internet
access 3 or (71% to 80%), on the other hand, 45 respondents with a highest percentage of
42.1% rate their internet access 4 or (81% to 90%) and lastly, 7 respondents with a percentage
of 6.5% rate their internet access 5 or (91% to 100%).
