Hyperterminal Teraterm

1. Connect a 0-modem cable to the PC.

2. If you don’t have any serial port you need a RS232 to USB converter

3. Start Tera Term hyperterminal

Select Serial and the correct Com port. Press OK

4. Select Serial port in the setup menu

5. Select the correct speed. Refer to the manual for the product you want to
download from. Then press New setting

6. Select Log in the File menu and choose a place in the PC where to store the
file with the downloaded files.

7. Check the product manual how to download the log and follow the procedures.

8. After completion of downloading files, select Stop Logging in the File menu.

9. This is the downloaded log files in the folder you chose in step 6.
