What is a
resume?
The Resume
A resume is a short descriptive
document that accounts for
one’s work experience,
education, special skills, awards
and other aspects.

● Name should always stand out!

● Have your address, phone number, and

e-mail address.

● E-mail should be professional.

○ Sports! Mention them!
● List any organization memberships such as California
Scholarship Federation (CSF) and National Honors Society
(NHS)
● Awards can also be from community organizations, work
(employee of the month), etc.
● Phrase any accomplishment you have by using actions such
as: earned, accomplished, awarded.
