Fashion Exclusiv
Clothing identity is real, alive and well. Over time we are seeing radical changes due to the
changing world of fashion. There is a famous saying that clothes make the man and is of
relevance in the present time. The social and cultural history of fashion teaches us the
importance of clothing identity. In today’s society Fashion and modernity are often used as
interchangeable concepts. Fashion acts as a social equalization tool that changes almost
instantaneously and differentiates over time. While Fashion can unite persons belonging to
the same class, it also has the ability to create division. As Sellers leverage individual and
social psychology to manipulate the market, we are seeing an increase in fashionable

DJ KAYLA
Following in the footsteps of her older brother, Kayla began collecting music and grew a love

This sparked a great work relationship between both parties as years progressed
Kayla took every opportunity to showcase her new found talent. In 2011, she took part in

found her space on campus as a resident DJ. While in college, she received an offer to have
her own DJ show on Brooklyn Mix - 101.5 FM. For 2 years, Kayla blazed the air waves and
formed relationships with her peers. Her time on the radio was worth while meeting artists
such as Barbee, Prince Pin, Zoelah, Fya Empress and many more
