A well designed solar support structure is of paramount importance to the long term performance of any
solar system. Both rooftop and ground mounted solar arrays have to endure substantial forces including not
only the weight of the panels but high wind loads as well.
DAYLIFF solar structures are exceptionally strong and engineered to be
cost effective, long lasting and low maintenance. The structure system is
modular in design using a few standard extruded aluminium sections
for module support and legs which are secured by specially designed
brackets and bolts. The system is infinitely expandable to suit arrays of
any size and can be used for either roof or ground mount installations
and can accommodate most frame type solar modules using a simple
clamping arrangement. Structures are designed to suit individual solar

arrays and site conditions, detailed dimensional drawings being
provided for each installation.
Installation is extremely simple and quick, which is especially beneficial
to remote sites with the option of Roof Mount or Ground Mount systems
being available. Roof Mount systems can be used with various roof
types and Ground Mount systems can be secured on conventional
concrete footings or on the simple to install ground screw foundations.
Aluminium structures are suitable for installation heights up to 3m. For
higher installations steel supporting columns are required.
All support components are tested to guarantee structural integrity and
load-carrying capacity and are made from high specification mild steel
or anodized aluminium alloy. Dayliff Solar Structures are designed for a
twenty-five years lifespan and are provided with a ten year warranty.
