SCOPE AND LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

The study was conducted to identify how MLM businesses remain in operation by

assessing its internal controls specifically its sales and receivable controls and identify

how the MLM Companies mitigate the impact of risk associated with its strategy. The

study will have MLM Companies located in the vicinity of City of Manila as the target

subject needed in performing the study. More specifically, MLM Companies that

employs the strategy of requiring little amount to zero initial capital from its agents and

employs credit policy will be the target respondents needed in conducting the study.

However, the study will not cover other MLM Companies located outside the City

of Manila area as the subject of the study. Furthermore, companies which requires high

amount of initial capital from its agents will also not be included in the scope of the

study.

Even if there are limitations as stated above, the study still provided the reliable

and valid information through the researchers’ systematic way of conducting the study.

Proper tools were used in the study that contributed in coming up with a valid result.
