Course Title: Public Procurement Integrity, E-Government and International Dimensions 1. Target Group
2. COURSE OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of the course is to equip participants with knowledge and skills
on public procurement with focus on contemporary issues of integrity, e-
government and international dimensions.
The e-government procurement explores the concept, objectives, supporting
policies and procedures of e-procurement within the broader e-government context.
The concept of e-government analyses various options in the e-procurement based
on the experience of several countries depending on the different scope and level
of complexity of e-government systems.
Procurement integrity concept covers institutional legal and procedural issues
inherited in procurement of goods and services by public entities and discusses
reform programs to improve transparency, efficiency and accountability.

The role of Office of Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets (PPDA)

National procurement laws and institutions
Course fees: K250,000 per participant, non-residential (covering tuition fee, lunch
and refreshments).
