Introduce the PDP setting:
All teachers must have a professional development plan (PDP) to work hard, and diligently activity to achieve the goals that they set. A
professional development plan (PDP) is a plan that consists of an outline of what you aim to achieve and what steps are you going to take to
improve your workplace skills and subsequently reach your goals. Furthermore, Kristin Guzder (2019), states that a professional development
plan is a documented record of an individual’s career aspirations and progressions. Applying PDP in schools’ systems results in many positive
outcomes. First outcome is retention, where teachers feel supported and valued which gives them the motive to stay. Second outcome is allowing
teachers to develop new skills and enhance their old skills. The third outcome is having a collaborative environment, where teachers can
exchange techniques and ideas to learn from each other. As for the last outcome of PDP is the most valuable one, when teachers reflect their
knowledge and skills on their students to help reach their own potential (Benefits of Professional Development, 2016).
Furthermore, according to Clark, D. (2016, September 22),” Your development as a leader is a long-term investment that requires not just time
and effort, but careful planning. If you make your professional resolutions with a clear understanding of how you’ll advance your learning,
connecting, and creating goals, you’ll be well ahead of the pack by this time next year.” However, the strategy of the PDP to support individuals
with their educational, career and professional development a dynamic process - an iterative cycle of critical reflection, planning, implementing,
monitoring, reviewing and evaluating Used in a variety of contexts formal policy education system. Finally, the PDP its help you to support and
enhance your professional development plan, career development and take ownership of it an opportunity to help you develop and reach your full
potential as an all rounded. Hoover, A. (2015).

My professional development plan is to always work in progress myself. It must grow and change over time and reflect where I currently stand
in my professional life. In this semester I will work on time management to be able to finish the lesson on time. Secondly, Students behavior to
use reward and punishment. Thirdly, formative assessment to make sure if the students understand the lesson. Fourthly, positive feedback to
motivate students for what they have done to feel proud about themselves. Finally, improving my teaching skills, using different teaching
strategies and have classroom management. Furthermore, to achieve my goals I will apply this strategy from semester 7 until 8 then I will not
face any difficulties because of my practicing it on a daily basis. Moreover, there is a quote motivate me according to Pablo Picasso said “Our
goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There
is no other route to success.” This means if you do not have a plan for your goal, you will not reach it unless you write your goals and plans
and strongly believe in them, you will cross the path of success. You have to set a plan for your goals and believe in them. Like Roy T.Bennett,
Said “Live the life of your dreams when you start living the life of your dreams, there will always be obstacles, doubters, mistakes and
setbacks along the way. But with hard work, perseverance and self-belief there is no limit to what you can achieve.” In this semester I am
so confident that I am on the right path and also confident that I can overcome my weaknesses in some specific areas with support from my
MCT and MST also my friends and other sources, and I will also try to use my strengths to control my weaknesses. Justify your professional
development goals for this semester

Managing learning
Competency:

Goal 6: Use an online differentiation strategy to motivate the kids by using ClassDojo and giving them certificates.

Rationale: To manage the classroom and kids’ behavior by using an online strategy to make the students’ excited to participate all the
time such as ClassDojo “points” and giving them certificates.

Proposed  List the kid’s names.

Actions  Create a Class Dojo for each classroom.
 Set up rules for using Class Dojo. For example, students will get points when they respect the teacher and give me the
correct answer also follow the teacher directions by raising their hands before answering. Moreover, there are a rule for
the noise kids’ “punishment”. For instance, when they talk all together, they make noises, I will take their points from
them.
 Inform the kids about the rule before using the class dojo.
 Make sure the strategy its work if they engage or not. If it’s not working, we will do other thing to get the kids interested.
 Observe kids’ behavior in the online class with my MST and give the feedback about what I did.

 To control the classroom behavior in the beginning of the class tell the kids raise their hands before they open the mic if they have
questions or they need help.

Final
Reflection The first thing in teaching, teachers most encourage all pupils to help you build classroom rules, as you’ll generate more buy-in
than just telling them what they’re not allowed to do. Moreover, it will be reminding the kids of classroom rules in the
beginning in each classes, will help them to follow and memorize it perfectly.
Now days, the teaching is changing to online learning is not in "real classroom" that you can’t see your student face to face.
That because during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this case, the teacher must have to think how they will inspire the kids and
motivate them in online teaching. The virtual, is a dynamic place exploding with activities and new ideas. The way that
educators vary the format of instruction through engagement strategies is critical. Most importantly, an active approach to
increase engagement during instruction benefits all students. Teachers should think a variety of methods for students to
interact with the material being taught. If the kids see there is a rewards and positive feedback and his/her follow the teacher
instruction will have points in Class Dojo, certificate.

For example, I used an online tool such as ClassDojo to give them points as a reward when they show a good behavior or take
points when they show bad attitude as negative reinforcement. This strategy is so effective as the parents are known of their
kids attuited in the classroom.

"The rewards help students remember the classroom rules and commonsense manners," Reward systems that work: What to
give and when to give it! (2017, March 20).

This distance learning is the perfect time to explore and plan. and find other strategies will inspire teacher to think creatively
about how they can engage students in meaningful learning online activities. Online engagement of students during online
classes is a real challenge. These strategies have many effective impacts such as managing the students during vertical
classroom and control their behavior.
Implementing Learning
Competency:

Goal 6: Make the students engage by using different way of online teaching strategies for example: PowerPoints, Videos, Kahoot and
Nearpod, Padlet.

Rationale: I will enhance my applied teaching skills through the use of online teaching strategies such as online teaching tools for
instance: Padlet, PowerPoints, Kahoot and Videos, Nearpod.

Proposed  Take permission to use different tools for teaching the pupils from my MST.
Actions  Read articles or search in google about how to apply the gradual release model strategy in the online lessons.
 Create lesson plans based on the gradual release model strategy where the responsibilities of the teacher gradually diminish
until the students can do their work alone MiddleWeb, B. B. (2020, November 22).
 Using website with many games to engage the pupils in learning and apply it in online classroom.
 Create high-quality PowerPoint with fun games to encourage the students to participate.
 Create Kahoot to assess the kids in a fun way and apply it in online classroom.
(Achieving high levels of classroom productivity means making sure students are interested in and invested in tasks that

The purpose of applying these new educational tools is to encourage students to learn and have fun in the classroom.

In my teaching practice, I used different tools in each lesson to engage them. The most strategies that I like is when they use

best by listening to a parent or teacher speak. And some children learn best by reading and writing about something. These
are called visual, auditory, and reading/writing learning styles, respectively. But there is a fourth learning style that is easy to
overlook: Kinesthetic learning, which is a fancy way of saying “learning by doing.” Martin, L. (2020, August 21). At this stage
of a child’s life, it’s important for parents and teachers to encourage hands-on activities that will challenge their child to learn
through doing.
Reflection
Competency:

Goal 6: Write a reflection for all my lesson

Rationale: Reflect all my lessons to check my improvement in all areas.

Proposed  Create lesson plans for kg2 such as English, Math and science.
Actions  I will write a reflection with the pros and cons that I notice after each lesson.
