The program chose a mother of 7 children, two of whom were twins that were underweight. The feeding program provided support but the children had trouble recovering due to the mother's inability to manage their needs and lack of a comfortable shelter.

The feeding program is a 90-day supplementary feeding program proposed by

the Province of South Cotabato. It aims to improve the nutritional status of the
province’s children. Its goal is to make the children normal in terms of weight by
feeding them. We look forward to make the malnourished children of South Cotabato
obtain a normal status.
Among 7 beneficiaries, the team chose Ma’am Rosemarie Pitisan from Purok
Paghidaet, Brgy. New Iloilo. A 39-year-old woman and mother to 7 children, which
contain 5 girls and 2 boys. Ma’am Pitisan suffered a lot in her life, when she gave birth
to her twin, a boy and a girl. The daughter is severely underweight and the son’s status
is underweight. We gave the complementary foods after6 months to them. The parent
could not afford to feed the twins because of lack of income.
So, with the help of the feeding program, we gave them support. But, because
the mother itself doesn’t know how to manage the needs of her children, they could
hardly recover. Not having a comfortable shelter to live-in also pushes them to sickness.
