Experiences as Professional Event Organizer:

Accurately, she said that being an event organizer is a difficult job in which you have a lot things to do
and you have to concentrate even small details so that you can reach the satisfaction of your clients
that you must to consider it as well as treat them equally and welcoming in order to feel better.
However, it gives me an opportunity to meet people, to go to beautiful, and expensive places for free,
and of course to explore endlessly my potential of creating memorable events in people’s lives. Yes,
being where I am now is not all bed of roses. It is not easy to manage events with people under you
(staff). It takes a village to create beautiful, successful, safe, and happy events. To let you know, I
have a lot of crew and staff with different assigned functions to be able to deliver a well-manage
events. Actually, I am starting in a little until it became develop and known as of now. Otherwise, to
inform also she said that growing up she was fascinated with decorations, ornaments, designs,
planned about an events, photographer, and many more that are show of being event organizer.
From that, she discover herself that she has a prospective to be an event organizer in the future, she
enhance it, and even realized through this it may bring her success in life. She literally did everything
by herself and with her people closed to her such as planning, execution, budgeting, and evaluation.
In the field of event organizer, unfortunately she said that you can experience to have overspending,
budget changes, having more guest or attendees than you expected, sudden change of weather
condition, not having a back-up plan for a bad weather, and there is a time failing to captured
valuable moments. In this time of pandemic, events industry has suffered much as everything came
to a halt, and we are the last people who are assisted by the government. So, financial stability is
challenged for me, my service is affected and event planners are at loose. But God is good all the
time because slowly events are on the rise again. Aside from that, she said that it is deemed
necessary to handle well your clients from all walks of life. Actuality, punctual is very crucial and the
time management skills will also help. As an event organizer, you are necessary to know your people
well, and be careful constantly you do. In addition, she said that there is also a time in which you can’t
please everybody like you can receive good or bad feedback, negativity, and hurt words eventually I
make it inspiration to be a better event organizer. At this moment, my event management service is
now on top, notorious, raise great, and prosper. She add also that this kind of work you can
experience hard times but overall it’s enjoying and exciting as well. Ultimately, behind all my success
events are staff meetings, sleepless nights, stressful hours, and unknown glitches. Indeed, being in
the events industry entails a lot of hard work, focus, commitment, discipline, patience, passion and
dedication at what you are doing as event organizer.

Lessons she/he has learned during and after the events:

Apparently, she said that the lesson she has learned during and after events is that it is essential to
be prepared of yourself for what events you will organized, think wisely what to do, and there should
always a Plan B in my top of my list when Plan A fails. I learned also that it is vital to make a list of the
important things to be used during the event to avoid overspending and provide enough.
Nevertheless, as an event organizer or planner I should and must be able to handle stress, pressure,
and flaws well. I must not show panic nor instability of emotions when met with challenges like
demanding brides, guests who are late, props did not function, technical issues, food did not arrive,
the debutante is sick, the projector broke, and everything else. As I said, I should keep in my mind
and do to have a Plan B in order to resolve the problem from Plan A failed. I found out that I should
be able to control variables when everybody else loses their nerves. Anyhow, I have learned that you
have to love and embrace your job because I believe through this you can overcome properly and
produce good events as well. It is need to have concentration every single details of event, the people
around you have to respect them, and you have to alert or be active of what they want to happen.
Constantly, I know that working in event industry the only one goal is to aim the satisfaction of the
clients. Certainly, if you come with so much focus and diligent probably you can see the glam and
glamour behind all the spotlights and applauses in every event come. Usually, as an event organizer I
learned that expect the unexpected in which be ready for things to go wrong or right, and know what’s
going to happen in an event day so that I can manage any situation that might occur. Moreover,
maintain good relationship and have understanding with your staff along with never stop learning from
your mistakes to change it into correctly. All the time I remember that I should put health first and
prioritize my well-being includes have sufficient sleep, eat nutritious foods, and exercise because it is
a way to gain energy and appetite to do the things in event from being so busy and long work. Apart
from that, I find out that when planning an event I ensure I start the planning well in advance so that I
have the fortuitous to be through thus ensuring the event runs smoothly. Absolutely, I need to be
cautious in creating my events and especially now we are in the midst of pandemic it is best to have
safety health protocols to be follow. It has become a top priority of mine to assure my clients and
guests that they are secure in my hands. I also realized that every circumstances in event that I
organized I always look for solution on it for the betterment. Besides, I should have relentless
optimism and determination so as to achieve positive results. For me, it is best to learn how to
manage time for the reason to avoid hectic and pressure situation. Literally, money, fame, and
comfortable life are just the icing of the cake when you become an event organizer because what
happens behind the curtains are tired minds, exhausted hands, and wear bodies but happy hearts
when we can hear how thankful our clients are when their events are successful. By this, I said to
myself that I must do what is right to do, pursue what clients wants, and give my excellent organize in
event. Finally, for me the most significant lesson during and after event as an event organizer is that
never forget to pray in God. Because he is always there for us no matter how tough it is, he will guide
us, and of course he will help me all times every event organized that I possess.
